Tea garden in the lovely Sparrow Ministries Craft Centre, Maraisburg.

The latest exciting news is that The Charity Store has opened brand new stores including a tea garden in the lovely Sparrow Ministries Craft Centre, Maraisburg.

The whole purpose of the project is to generate self-sustaining surplus income which will be used to support the running costs of Sparrow Ministries Children's home and Hospice.

It's important to note that we at the Charity Stores are firmly committed to bring about positive change, including improvement to the local communities with projects such as this one and at the same time create employment.

When fully operational the project will have positions for at least 8 people and reduce the current level of unemployed people in the area.

I have no doubt that with the support of the local comminities and donors alike, this project will be a fantastic success.

Success depends on each of us to do our bit
